I’m Jason Hampden, a documentary and sports Director of Photography based in Raleigh, NC, focused on human-centered, character-driven storytelling across documentaries, athlete films, and narrative commercial work.

My style is cinematic and observational, grounded in honest, unforced moments.

I collaborate with directors and producers on story-driven projects. For commercial productions, I work through my production company Crafted Film Co., giving me the flexibility of an independent DP with the support of a full production team when needed.
